What does made to order mean?
To conserve on energy, materials and our waste. We only make things that are needed by our customers.
How long will it take to get my order?
As soon as we receive an order, it’s put into the production queue to be made. Depending on how many orders come in dictates when we can schedule firings. Clay naturally needs time to dry to what’s called bone dry before we can put the piece into the kiln for it’s initial firing.
Why can’t I get my item faster?
We’re not a factory pumping endless pieces out. Everything is made by hand, cleaned by hand, finished by hand. It’s just my daughter and I making things out of clay for people that will enjoy them for many generations to come.

I mix all of my own stoneware (Each batch takes weeks to develop and age properly). Most of the Bonsai pots I make are stoneware so they can handle all types of weather.

Do you do commissions?
Yes we can, but we’d like to discuss it first and see if it’s the right fit. If it’s something similar in design aesthetic that we already do, then it’s most likely we’ll be able to make it for you.
