Hi, I’m Mochi!

I am a very handsome 1.5 year old male guinea pig who has grey fur, brown eyes, and weighs 2.30 pounds. I am a Crested Guinea Pig which means my fur is short and grows in one direction, except for the crest on my head! I am pretty shy but I do pretty okay with lap time. I think with some time and patience I can become your best friend! I would do best in a family with children over 10 years old. I must be adopted to an inside home. My adoption fee is $30.00, which includes certificates for a free vet exam.

The staff here requires that all pets are adopted into an indoor only home. If you have little to no experience with Guinea Pigs, that’s okay! The staff will take plenty of time to teach you all about me and my care! They will also leave you with tons of resources to help you while I get settled into your home!

I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is based on my previous history and my behavior seen while in the shelters care. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.
